The cabin was private, but close enough to town to be able to enjoy restaurants/shopping/attractions, etc. We enjoyed the feeling of being tucked away. The cabin was wonderful! It was clean, cozy, and had everything we wanted/needed for our time there - and our host was so hospitable and checked in on us to make sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend this cabin!!

Kaila S - 05/08/2023I stayed at the Mountain Honeymoon Cabin this past week while visiting Pigeon Forge! If I ever decide to revisit, this will be the place I will look to again to stay! The cabin is GORGEOUS and pictures do not do it justice! It’s just as described, and then some! My partner and I felt like we were staying in luxury, while still in a comfortable/homey setting. Another great thing is the cabin is literally minutes away from the heart of Pigeon Forge, so we always found something close yet fun to do! The cabin was nice, but our host was equally as nice if not more! Lori was very attentive, responded to any questions promptly, and even had reached out to see if we had needed anything upon settling in! She was in general so pleasant! Much more than other hosts I’ve had experiences with!!!

While downtown pigeon forge isn’t our style, we loved how close this cabin was to restaurants, grocery stores and other necessities as well as the Smokey Mountains but it felt super secluded and private. The cabin itself was super clean and had all amenities that we needed! Maples Ridge Staff was communicative and thoughtful and the self check in was so easy and quick! Would definitely recommend!

It’s not right in the town, however you can get to most of the main attractions within 30 minutes max. They also checked in us to make sure we got settled and did not need anything. The location was also amazing, really close to the great restaurant selection at Pigeon Forge and not too far from Gatlinburg! The only downsides were not having much of a view (despite the pictures that made it look like it) and the communication wasn’t great so we had some trouble finding the cabin initially.

There is not much of a mountain view, at least in the summer when the trees are full. Check in and communication with the company were very easy. There were multiple restaurants and at least one grocery store nearby. Overall, we really liked staying here and would recommend it to others!

You can’t see any other homes from this one. There are tree top Mountain View’s as well. The home is small and cozy but very nice for a two person get away.

Kyle Clark - 06/13/2019For an outdoorsy person like myself, this cabin was absolutely perfect. It was the last cabin at the top of a private drive and felt very secluded which was great. The cabin was modern, yet rustic, and had a few more upgrades than what I had seen in photos. One example was the TV which was a flatscreen but in the photos was shown as an older box style tv...not that this really mattered, but in the evenings winding down before bed it was kind of nice to sit back and relax. The location of the cabin itself was great in relation to the Pigeon Forge strip and many other activities that one goes to Pigeon Forge to take part in. The cabin was very clean, and accommodated everything that was needed just as toiletries, cooking utensils, and more. I have absolutely no complaints about this cabin or the interactions that I had with the staff. If I come back to Pigeon Forge, I don’t see any reason why I won’t seek out this cabin, first!

The cabin is a great get away close but just far away enough to the business of Pigeon Forge. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone needing time away. Really liked that it was located at the top of the development on the mountain and there were only 5 cabins in this development. Our location was very private. Would love to go back in the fall for sure. Great way to spend our 39th anniversary!

It has everything you could need inside and the setting was magical. Best memories were coffee on the porch watching the sunrise over the mountain while the birds were calling out to each other and flying right in front of our cabin. WOW! Can’t wait to come back and get away from it all here!

Rebecca C - 08/22/2017The cabin was immaculate upon our arrival, which was really nice as we had been in a car all day. It is much larger than I thought it would be. The kitchen has a refrigerator, electric range, microwave and coffee maker. Everything we needed! There's a dining area and large living room. I went up to the loft to check out the bedroom with firm and really comfy king bed. There is a dresser for storage in the bedroom. There is flat screen TV's which we never turned on. Our time was spent sitting on the porch overlooking the mountain. The mornings were cool enough to put on a light jacket. It was warm in the afternoon, but the ceiling fan made it comfortable, and once the sun went down in the evening it was lovely. Hummingbirds were hitting the feeder all day. We saw hawks, crows and cardinals during the day and I'm certain that there were bats flying around after the sun went down. We saw a bear right down the road by the lodge. Pretty cool! The hot tub was set up and ready to go, but it was pretty warm out and we never got in it. The entrance to the national park is literally few mile from the cabin. I couldn't believe how close it was. We spent two days in the national park, checking out the water falls, the beautiful scenery and doing some fly fishing. It got crowded in the afternoon, but the mornings were really nice. We packed a picnic every day and there were plenty of pull offs to stop and eat. Our main reason for picking this location was to view the eclipse and we weren't disappointed. We watched it from the driveway. I wouldn't hesitate to go back...maybe for leaf peeping in the fall. It's a very comfortable place and all of the local folks were just as nice as can be. Overall, our stay was great.

The bed was extremely comfortable and Netflix was also an option. The couch downstairs was an electrical recliner- how luxurious! This place is charming and beautiful - we will return someday!
