We had an awesome stay at this cabin. We spent each morning outside sipping our coffee and enjoying the great view. We had a large family so having access to bathrooms was a must. All rooms have their own private bathroom on top of having guest bathrooms on each floor. Our bed was comfy and had access to plenty of pillows. We cooked most of our meals here and the kitchen was equipped with pretty much everything we needed. Definitely able to to cater to a large family! The pool is a few minutes away but definitely worth it. Very clean and the staff there was very friendly. The waterfalls and attractions we visited were within 30-35 minutes. The host was great at communicating with us and quickly responded when we needed the trash taken out from the bins located outside, which I appreciated. The only thing I feel I need to point out is the driveway(very steep), but I don’t think they have much control over that. It’s definitely doable. Would we book this place again? Definitely!!

The loft area was open, so whoever is sleeping there doesn’t get much privacy, it was ok for us though, but if we had more couples, that would not have worked for us. If our family doesn’t grow any bigger next year, we would love to come back next year for our annual family cabin trip

Gerald S. - 12/19/2022We go to the Pigeon Forge area every year for Christmas. Our first impression of the cabin was that we really enjoyed the view at night. It was well done inside, and their Christmas decorations were cute. I brought my own pans bc some cabins do not always have nice enough pots and pans or they just do not have enough. This cabin did. The view from the porch at night was really pretty. The driveway is steep but not bad if you go up farther and turn around to go into the driveway. The couches in the living room are comfortbable but I would recommend replacing, the leather was peeling on top. The room my husband and I were staying in had a couple broken blinds and no curtains so each morning the sun was bright early on. I would also recommend putting some kind of grip on the stairs leading to the porch from the driveway. It was very slippery bc of the paint not having grip. The adults and the kids really enjoyed the game room downstairs. There was plenty of room for our group of 19 of all ages. Having a small downstairs fridge was very helpful. The owners were a pleasure to deal with especially the lady that works the weekends. She was the sweetest lady I have ever spoken to. We would book this cabin again.

I didn't give it a 5 star on location because even though it is between Gatlingburg and Pigeon Forge, it is a drive in winding roads to the areas going around the mountain, but there is nothing you can do about that which to some people is good since it does have a peaceful up in the mountain environment. There are a lot of spiders and insects outside and a few inside, but manageable. I imagine it is crazy during the summer with bugs. For a large party of over ten, it had enough utensils, pots and pans for all your needs, just be prepared to wash dishes or take disposable plates to minimize time washing dishes or you can use the dish washer everyday. The amenities were great. Management was responsive, helpful, and very friendly. Great experience.
Peggy B. - 09/24/2022Our family reunion at Magnificent 7 was the highlight of our year. The cottage was perfect for our family. 7 Master bedrooms!!! We have never had that luxury before. The decks (with plenty of chairs) were perfect for sitting out day or night. All of the beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were plenty spacious. The staff at Maples Ridge Realty were delightful and so pleasant to work with. We highly recommend this cabin to everyone with a large group of people.
Janet S. - 09/11/2022The property was great and as described! Amazing views, clean, spacious. We had a group of 12 and each couple had their own king size bed and bathroom which was great! Plenty of space in the bedrooms and common areas. Two tables and two fridges worked well as did two living rooms. The deck was a favorite place at night to enjoy a nightcap, sunset and music or conversation. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking big meals. It was great! The only thing— which we knew from reviews— was the driveway. However we did not anticipate how hard it would be for multiple cars and motorcycles to navigate parking and travel up and down the very steep drive. We were lucky the managers allowed us to keep our trailers at their office or there is no way this property would have worked with the narrow winding roads. . It is a great place and we loved every minute but the driveway is not for the faint of heart and would be quite slick during winter! I would highly recommend it to anyone. Just need to know about the driveway in advance so plan accordingly!

The driveway is steep, but being that your on a mountain it’s nothing that should deter a stay. The hosts were very responsive and checked in on us. Would definitely recommend
Gregory W. - 07/27/2022Wonderful views and Family time. The views in this home are wonderful. It has plenty of room for a big family. The kitchen is well stocked for meals. Lots of bathrooms. The home has expansive porches for sitting outside and enjoying the view.. Not much of a yard for kids to play. However, It is very close to River Rat tubing and some nice General stores and restaurants. Lots to do in the area. The driveway is a concern though. Our family all had trucks and suburbans. Therefore it was not a problem. If you go past the home and come at the driveway from the descending direction it is easier. Backing up the driveway works too. Thank you to the owner for hosting us. Our family was blessed to be together. It only happens once a year now.

We had a group of 14 people stay at the property this June and we felt very comfortable as far as space - no one was on top of each other and the many beds and bathrooms were great! The deck and views from the cabin were spectacular! We enjoyed the quiet nights after a busy day. We particularly liked that the cabin had three different air conditioning units with three thermostats so everyone can set the temperature according to their liking. One of the air conditioning units stopped working while we were there, but the owner had it fixed immediately. The only negative was it was a bit buggy (some in the cabin), but I know this is expected when you are staying in the woods. Overall, everyone had a great time relaxing and visiting with each other. Great time had by all!

Rachel N - 04/06/2022Great stay We were 3 families staying for a short getaway in the Smoky Mountains. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was spacious, with many bedrooms, bathrooms, 2 dining tables that allowed all of us to eat together, lots of entertainment options and great views. The host was very responsive and accommodated our needs (e.g., BBQ gas tank was replaced the day after we reported it was empty). The only thing to be cognizant of is the steep driveway. We arrived on a rainy evening and couldn't take the turn left coming uphill, we continued a bit further up, turned around and then made it. Our friends arrived after dusk and actually got stuck in the mud trying to make this turn and it was a nightmare getting them out... we recommend coming there in day light for check-in.

Michael C. - 12/27/2021GREAT View! Perfect for large groups We stayed for a week with 8 adults and 8 children. Plenty of room! The three separate floors also allows for some space if needed. The house has TWO fridges and it was a massive help, kitchen is large enough and has everything you need for cooking. Beds are comfy and we didnt use the tubs but they were there if that is your thing. The hill up is steap and it is easier to drive past the house up the hill and turn around. We fit 5 cars with plenty of room at the top of the driveway. The fire pit is a legit pit, bring firewood! Great spot to hang out at night! Cindy and team were excellent communicators and I really appreciate them

When we arrived it was rainy and the steep driveway made for a slippery entrance. They came out right away and blew the leafs for our other families arrival. Not only that but checked in on us and exact age a coffee maker that wasn’t even working! House is fully equipped with enough pots/pans/plates and towels! We had a house of 19! Our only con of this place was all the dead lady bugs at the doors and on the window seals. But that didn’t keep us from having a great time!

Chris L - 08/21/2021Overall a great time. Having a bathroom in every room is a plus. The house was very clean and we were able to enjoy our time together and had privacy. I suggest driving to the end of the road, turn around and then enter the driveway from that direction. The management office was responsive to our request and pleasant to deal with. We could not utilize many of the televisions in the bedrooms, so you might ask Comcast to checkout the cable boxes.

Shannon G - 07/27/2021We stayed in this cabin with four other families for 6 days. The 5 large bedrooms with king beds were perfect for each adult couple. The kids enjoyed the loft sleeping area and the bedroom with the bunk beds. Friends of ours reported that some of the outlets in their bathrooms didn't work. A big disappointment for us and the kids was that the pool was a 10 min drive away and it was a public pool. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed the large deck in the mornings and evenings to sit and relax.

Centrally located. Responsive owners. Bear sitings! Beautiful view. Very clean pool with snack bar in Wears Valley! Cons: THE DRIVEWAY! Decks need small tables for drinks. Fire pit area is way too small for the way it is set up. 2 fridges are a MUST in a house this size (owners did send a second fridge when the first wasn’t able to keep our food cool enough ðð¼). More dish towels needed. Just a few small tweaks and this would be the perfect house for large family gatherings!

The place was very clean and lived up to all of my expectations. If you're looking for a large cabin for a lot of people, this place has so much space. It definitely has a rustic vibe, which is exactly what we wanted, and was very comfortable. The hot tub also had an amazing view.
Shaun B - 03/07/2021BOOK IT! The cabin is amazing. The view is stunning. The place was very clean. They even contacted us while we were there to make sure everything was ok. It has plenty of room for a huge family. It was 8 of us and we all enjoyed ourselves. It has 3 levels. Arcade games. It even has premium cable and wifi. You cannot beat the price. The only thing I would recommend is that if you fly in...rent a vehicle because it will be hard finding an Uber in the mountain areas but other than that, it's amazing. We will definitely rent this cabin again. It even had enough towels in every bedroom bathroom. Pots and pans and all. I can write a list on why you should book this place but I'll just say BOOK IT! You won't be disappointed.

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans and plenty of kitchen gear including plenty of plates, cups and utensils. The driveway is very steep (for us Florida people)and it took us a day or two trying to figure out how to get up it safely. Outside of that it is an amazing slice of heaven!

Everything was communicated before we got there. The driveway to the the cabin is very steep slope (at least for us, we are from FL) but you will get used to it after a couple of times. All the stores are within 15-20 mins. Overall, everyone had a great time!
