Hidden Pond Hideaway, in Laughing Pines area, is located in a wooded setting, with access to a large fishing pond. The kitchen has a microwave, stove, dishwasher, kitchenware and dinnerware and a table that seats four. This cabin has two bedrooms. In the master bedroom you can enjoy a fireplace, cable TV with DVD player, king bed and full bath with a Jacuzzi tub. The second room has a queen bed. In the living area there is a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping arrangements. The living area also has a mountain stone gas log fireplace and cable TV with DVD player. Other amenities in Hidden Pond Hideaway are a second full bath; a covered deck with hot tub, rockers, and grill; washer and dryer; and beautiful views. *Construction near cabin.*

Uber Eats and Kroger delivered which is a huge plus for us and not common for a lot of the cabins in the area. Cabin was very clean and was perfect for family of 5 with 3 little ones under 12. We would book again.

It was clean and ready to go on arrival. We would definitely go back. And the hosts were great. They texted us multiple times to ensure that everything was ok. It was better than that.

Ashley P. - 06/10/2023Great location Our annual family trip to the mountains. This was our first time visitng this area and we had an AMAZING time. Compared to our usual places we go (blue ridge areas), there were endless things for our kids to do. The cabin itself is about 10 min from everything. Check in was super easy, great communication. Driveway was VERY easy, saw a review stating otherwise. Although a house now separates this one and the pond, its still just a short walk down the road. It was our favorite thing to do while in between activities, my kids loved it and we actually caught fish everytime! My only real negative comment (for us it's a big one) is how this cabin overlooks the backyard of the neighboring cabin. Luckily for us, no one stayed there until our last night. But if both familes are out at the same time, no privacy, you feel like you're on top of them. That's just our preference in the mountains, seclusion. Overall the cabin is great, just enough room for our family of 5 (2 adults 3 littles). Perfect location, Already planning on coming back to explore the rest of the area, it really is perfect for families. I would definitely stay here again if I knew no one would be renting the neighboring cabin.

The kitchen was supplied with everything you need to make meals. To get to the cabin you have to drive up the driveway of another house then the lane to the cabin is very narrow. So be prepared to either back in or back out when leaving. I backed in so I could park by the door and pull straight out to leave.

The drive way to the cabin is narrow and there is no way to park more then one car to the entrance. Also, there was a smell of gas on and off throughout the stay. Got really intense when the fireplace in the living room was Iin use.

The only thing that gave me pause was the very narrow driveway. We had to back down it since there was no room to turn around, but that is absolutely not a dealbreaker. All in all we were very happy and will absolutely book with this group again.

Henry B. - 07/09/2022Teenage daughter, wife, and I stayed for a week and loved the cabin. It's just 10 min from downtown Pigeon Forge, but tucked away in the woods. "Hidden" in the name is warranted; it feels like a hidden cabin. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. The bedroom our daughter stayed in had a bunk bed and queen bed, so it could accommodate quite of few kids or adults. The cabin is very private and quiet. The large front porch and huge back porch are wonderful, too, especially when it rains. We of course spent time in the hot tub daily. Definitely a winner choice.

There is a pond to fish, but it's down the road and not very accessible outside of the "no trespassing" signs from the other rentals. The picture shows a two level cabin but guests have access to the main level, not the lower. It's 5mins from Pigeon Forge and about 25mins from Gainburg. We loved being just outside of the hustle of the main areas. Really enjoyed the deck with the four rocking chairs overlooking the trees. Would recommend this cabin!

My 3 boys fished until it got too dark every night. They caught lots of bluegills and had a blast. We also loved the hot tub. We had a couple questions for the owners and they got back to us right away. The only thing I wish we had was maybe some information at the house on good pizza, best mini golf, best authentic southern cooking, etc. We did a pink jeep tour and our guide gave us all of that information and it was a little too late as that was our last day. Overall, great trip!

Even if it hadn’t been, it wouldn’t have affected our stay. Views were nice and it was quiet, mostly. Only thing I could say that was negative was the construction crew building a new cabin next to us. But, even that wasn’t bad enough to really complain. We were gone most of the day and they were gone at sun down. Only heard them when out on the porch. Would go back again!

The cabin owner asked if we needed anything, all we needed to do was ask. Would definitely stay again. Also, the cabin is very nice and clean.

The location was perfect, nice and quiet but still pretty close to all the attractions of Pigeon Forge. It is a pretty narrow driveway that you will need to back in/out of since there is no room to turn around. Other than that, we had a great time! The kids loved the loft and playing in the backyard too, it was a wonderful treat and beautiful cabin!

The pond was a great hit, Catching fish and making new friends even during COVID-19! Our stay was great! It was a beautiful place to stay, Very private. Sightseeing is gorgeous the views are awesome and everything is within a decent travel distance, many cute little souvenir shops! Tennessee is absolutely beautiful, we would definitely book again!

Wanting to get away for a little while but safely with COVID, we socially distanced at the cabin, where we hiked, fished, relaxed in the hot tub and cooked our own food. We arrived and two lamps were not working. It was a little dark in the living room. The next day when we returned from our hike, there was a brand new lamp. Property manager was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was comfortable and had the perfect "mountain cabin" decor. My husband and son enjoyed fishing in the nearby pond. Lori was always quick to respond to my questions and offered some suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area. We arrived very late on the first night, and she was kind enough to have the lights on for us. I would definitely recommend Hidden Pond Hideaway to anyone!

The kids loved the little playroom loft. My favorite part was the front porch. It was so relaxing sitting out on the swing. My husband's favorite part was the fishing pond. It was a short walk from the cabin. We all really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back.

We are huge hot tub lovers so the hot tub was a little down fall since we needed a bigger one. But our little girl enjoyed it thoroughly . We appreciate the very clean peaceful stay. Tracia Barnes - 05/28/2018Amazing!! It is beautiful and looks just like the pictures on the cite. Can’t see the pond much this time of year but it’s just beautiful. The owners of the house are the best I’ve ever dealt with. It was about an 8 hour drive for us and we hit heavy construction, that put us 3 hours behind. I sent email to let them know we would be late. They responded within mins and gave me a number to call and told us about after hour check ins. The next morning they called us to make sure we made it safe- very caring ladies. I would stay there again and again. The inside and outside of the house were very clean, smelled good, and the outside lights were on for us-which was nice since we got there super late, they would call and check if we needed anything. There is a grill and fire pit outside, the hot tub was awesome. The fireplaces inside the house worked great, was so nice falling a sleep with it on, very peaceful, nice quite area. Loved the rocking chairs on the back porch listing to the bullfrogs. If could give them 10 stars I would. Check this place out, it’s well worth it. There is so much to do Downtown as well, I wish we could have stayed for month. I could go on and on, the house is amazing, the town is amazing and the people are so sweet, nice and caring.
Lonnie and Lisa Turner - 04/21/2018We love the fact that we found this little honey hole a couple years ago. We enjoy sitting on the dam and fishing. It doesn't matter if we catch anything or not. We have caught several large stripe fish in the past and my husband has taught our young son to enjoy it also.He was so excited to reel one in and loved releasing them back to catch again. He gave them names and had to stop and tell them all bye when we left.We come every chance we get and hope no one catches on so that we can continue to book on short notice.
