Cabin was very beautiful and had plenty space. Loved the bathrooms in both bedrooms upstairs. Also the rooms downstairs were great. Both rooms had 2 king size beds which was more than enough so definitely could've invited a couple or few more people to join us on our trip. The 2 balconies were awesome. We didn't get to use the hot tub or fire pits but only cause we would go out on the town everyday and come back exhausted. I give this place a 1000 out of 10 and I would definitely recommend this cabin to all my family and friends. PS if we ever come back we're staying here again!!!!

Our family had an amazing stay here. The bedrooms are incredibly spacious and comfortable, giving everyone plenty of room to relax. The game room was a huge hit and kept everyone entertained, and the hot tub was perfect for unwinding after a long day.The views are absolutely beautiful, and the decks really stand out—they’re the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or just take in the scenery.Overall, this place exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for families or groups looking for a relaxing and fun getaway.

Lori’s place was marvelous. The house is very spacious, with two large, picturesque decks on both levels overlooking a beautiful wooded area. The hot tub on the lower level was a huge hit with the kids, and the game room kept them happily entertained throughout our stay. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of utensils, pots, and pans, making it easy to prepare meals. We also appreciated the dual heating and cooling system, which allowed us to set comfortable temperatures on both levels of the house. The road leading up to the house is a bit narrower and darker than expected, which made driving at night slightly tricky. That said, the beauty, comfort, and peaceful setting of the place made it absolutely worth it.

We have gone to TN every year and Deer's Lair was the best yet. There was more than enough room for our family of 6. For the first time we could all sit in the living room together. The cabin is so peaceful, easy to get to and is not high in the mountains but still very peaceful and serene. We had all the amenities with there always having something to do whether is was relax outside by the fire or hot tub to the game room downstairs. Everything was wonderful, clean and cozy. Lori is a wonderful host, friendly and very responsive. We would 100% recommend Deer's Lair.

Our vacation at Lori’s cabin exceeded our expectations. The cabin was beautiful and private, but still close to all of the areas attractions. The cabin is huge and has plenty of room where no one is on top of each other. The kitchen was gorgeous and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The kids loved the game room. The adults enjoyed it too. We were never bored! The drive up was not too windy either like other cabins I’ve stayed in. The owner was also very responsive and pleasant. We can’t wait to book this cabin again for our next trip to Tennessee. We REALLY did not want to leave. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Deer's Lair was amazing! Our Airbnb was ready early, Maples Ridge gave us a courtesy call before we came down. Maples Ridge was very cooperative with any needs we may have had and communicated in a quick manner! Thank you, this stunning cabin was worth it and we enjoyed ourselves!

Lori was very reachable and responsive. The home was beautiful and had all the amenities that were listed. We were a party of 8 and there was plenty of space for everyone, particularly bedroom and hanging out space. However, the dining/kitchen area was a bit tight. Despite that, we would recommend this home and Lori to anyone looking to spend a getaway in the Pigeon Forge/Smoky Mountains/Gatlinburg area!

Could not have asked for a better weekend get away!!

Very nice place very homey and comfortable loved decks lower and upper the bathrooms and bed rooms had plenty of space. I will recommend the Cabin to anybody and hope to stay there again in the near future.

Deers Lair was exactly as described. It had all the listed amenities, was well stocked, clean and had good space. The location was secluded and private yet not far from town. We did have a bear visit one night as we were grilling outside, but it paid no attention to us and kept on moving. It was actually a cool experience. My only negative is the upstairs beds were a bit to firm for my preference. But overall it was a wonderful experience.

We loved everything about Deer's Lair. The house was clean, had everything we expected. It was so peaceful and relaxing to wake up every morning and have our coffee out on the back deck. I don't think we could have asked for anything more. If our family comes back to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, we would definitely try to book Deer's Lair.

My friend and I stayed for weekend trip and we enjoyed it. The cabin had plenty of space and many things everyone could do. All the necessities were there. Everything was great, we would stay again!

Absolutely beautiful Home!! I can't thank Lori enough for opening her home. Everything was as described. What I really liked, was that Lori sent a welcome text and then checked on us with a text during our stay .. That was a special touch!

Best experience on Airbnb by far... Lori was in contact with me since way before the arrival date in order to arrange all the details so everything was absolutely clear; The day of our arrival we even got the opportunity to have the cabin ready for us about 2 hours early without even asking for it so it was very nice of her; through out all our stay she was very attentive and helpful and the cabin itself is even better than the pictures and clean in every spot, the place is very private and peaceful, when you're out in the balcony all you can see and hear is pure nature at it's finest; jacuzzi was nice, clean and warm when we got there so it was a nice to get in to relax after the trip; game room is a lot of fun and you can have hours of games and music with family and friends, overall I have to call it the best experience in Airbnb so far, thank you so much for everything Lori, I would definitely consider booking this place again.

A beautiful cabin, we would definitely stay again!

Staying at Lori's was great! lots of space for my big family. with 6 king size beds, bathrooms for every room, and big lovely kitchen (very important for my family because we cook alot). We went to Gatlinburg a good bit and was only 20-30ish minutes to get to any of the attractions we wanted to visit, very convenient in my opinion. I love how secluded it felt, it was like our own little oasis. Lori was on top of it with ensuring we had the code to get in and any other instructions. I would definitely stay here again! The only thing since we're responsible for cleaning the dishes I think other visitors could have done a bit better at making sure they were actually clean.

Lovely home surrounded by natural beauty. Drinking coffee on the deck was the perfect way to start our days. The fresh air, spring green leaves, azalea blossoms, and little critters chittering around, were a desperately needed change of scenery. The home had everything we needed to relax, entertain our teen and younger girls, and cook a nice meal on evenings in. It was also the perfect jumping off point to drive to the many attractions in the surrounding areas. Can’t wait to go back.

This cabin is in a neighborhood, but you cannot see another person from any of the outdoor spaces. There is plenty of room for several guests to be comfortable. The cabin is convenient to town and easy to get to. I cannot express enough that you must lock your doors or the bears will get into them. They got in one of ours last year and they tried again this year (but we outsmarted them)

This place was everything and more! We will be coming back! We had a wonderful time!

Our stay was absolutely perfect in every way! The house was beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The location was great, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure we had a wonderful experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Highly recommend!

We had a great time. So much room we could’ve brought more than 6 people and still been so comfortable.

This was our 2nd visit to Deers Lair. It was as good as the first time 2 years ago. The property is quiet and clean. My family loves staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at Deer's Lair! Felt plenty big enough for 12 people. Tons of amenities inside the cabin- we loved the Christmas tree and the overall decor of the place, the firepit(s) were perfect, the kitchen was well stocked, great games, had all the bathroom amenities you needed. One call out for parents of small kids is that the bottom deck is open to the ground level and a steep slope so just be careful there. We kept the little ones on the top deck when we went outside and it was great! We would stay here again if given the chance.

This place was PERFECT! Close to town, but completely secluded. We could not see another cabin while in the outdoor spaces. There were a lot of things to do and enough room to spread out. ***I will say that when t they recommend you lock your car doors, do so! We were moving out and one of our cars was unlocked and a bear managed to get INSIDE the car. It took some snacks, but did not do much damage to the vehicle (just a few scratches). We would absolutely stay here again. The house was immaculate. The kitchen was well-stocked. Truly an amazing stay in the woods.

This is a fantastic cabin. The layout was perfect for my parents that have trouble with stairs. It was a wonderful and peaceful location.

Don’t look any further! Book this for your stay right now! It was secluded enough for privacy but close enough to get to anywhere you needed within 10 or so minutes. We spent lots of time on the deck, enjoying the fire pit. The house itself is as described. It’s beyond beautiful and spacious! Lori was responsive and a great host! The pool/picnic/swing set area is great for kids! We were even lucky enough to watch a bear walk through the carport area and off into the woods one evening. We can’t wait to come back!

The place was amazing just like the pictures a very peaceful and relaxing area. There’s also a pool and basketball court that I enjoyed a lot.

The cabin was as pictured. Lots of room and the bathroom downstairs was fantastic for two families to share. The o Lu downside was the ice maker did not work. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee pots, toaster, mixer, crockpots and all the other kitchen supplies needed, even had an ice cream scoop! I would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay for the 2 nights we booked. The cabin was squeaky clean and Lori was very responsive. The kids loved the gaming area and the arcade was a big hit. Definitely recommend others to avail the facility.

Absolutely fabulous! Both my husband and I agreed we have found the cabin we will always book for Tennessee. It was secluded and private enough without all the crazy turns and hills of the mountains. Lori was very responsive when I didn’t see the silverware and came right to the cabin with some. There was a drawer that was a bit tricky to open up and it had tons of silverware. We loved everything about this cabin. Tons of room for our party of six and the hot tub made it even better. I look forward to booking with Lori again on our next stay. The beds are very comfortable as well.
